We could not have asked for a better weather. It turned out to be such a lovely sunny day. Residents young and old turned up for what was a very full and entertaining day.
Guest performers were the Canberra City Band, Merici College Dancers, Folk Dance Canberra, bands from Campbell High, Dinesh Moylan a former resident and now a professional singer/song writer, local couple ‘The Telepathetics and performers from Dickson College. We cannot thank the performers enough for their willingness to give up their free time on such a lovely day to entertain our community.
The birthday cake proved to be very popular and for some the slice of cake was a welcome respite from the hunger pangs of lunch.
It was a great day for the kids with face painting, jumping castle and slot cars.
For those who could not make it we plan to do it again next year.
